CONSULTANT
Savenaca Banuve, is a graduate in law of the University of Tasmania.He also holds a Masters in Law from the University of Adelaide.
He was admitted to the Supreme Court of the ACT and the High Court of Australia in 1986 and to the High Court of Fiji in 1987. He has lived in Australia and Fiji. Savenaca has served 2 stints with the Office of the Attorney General between 1987-1991 and 1995-2007.
He served as Deputy Solicitor General from 2002 until he resigned from Government service in mid 2007. His primary responsibility is to jointly manage the Litigation Service of the firm.
Drawing on his experience in Government his other areas of interest include public law, native title, intellectual property, international law areas of trade/WTO, Law of the Sea, Environmental Law/UNCED and the Ozone Treaty Regimes.
